Choosing the right therapeutic approach is an important step in your healing journey, and depends on your unique needs, goals, and challenges. Below are some of the therapeutic approaches I offer, each designed to help you explore your emotions, overcome obstacles, and achieve lasting growth. Together, we will explore different modalities of care and determine a person centered treatment plan.

Modalities

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) Helps individuals accept thoughts and feelings rather than fighting them, promoting mindfulness and values-based living.

  • Attachment Therapy Focuses on understanding early attachment experiences and how they influence relationships and emotional patterns.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) A structured, goal-oriented approach that helps identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. Post graduate training completed.

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy Techniques (DBT) Combines CBT with mindfulness and emotional regulation techniques, particularly beneficial for managing intense emotions and interpersonal challenges. Post graduate training completed.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) A trauma-focused therapy that uses guided movements to help process and reduce distressing memories. Post graduate training completed.

  • Integrative Therapy A flexible approach that blends elements from different therapeutic modalities to meet individual needs.

  • Internal Family Systems Techniques (IFS) Explores different "parts" of the self, helping to heal inner conflicts and foster self-compassion.

  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Addresses relationship patterns and social interactions to improve communication and emotional well-being.

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) Combines mindfulness practices with CBT techniques to prevent relapse in depression and improve overall emotional resilience.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy Emphasizes finding practical solutions and building on strengths to create positive change in the here and now, while teaching you skills for implementation in your future.

  • Strength-Based Therapy Focuses on identifying and utilizing personal strengths to foster empowerment, resilience and appropriate expectations.

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy A compassionate approach that acknowledges the impact of trauma and integrates safety, trust, and empowerment into the therapeutic process.
